The SketchUp 7 SDK is now available

We have recently updated the SketchUp SDK for folks who need read and/or write SketchUp 7 files. Is that only for reading and writing files? Not the Ruby API?

That's right. The SDK is for reading and writing SketchUp files inside your own application. The Ruby API is a different tool entirely. But they are closely related in some ways so that's the reason for the blog post.
